FMGE Screening Test Result Out 2018 – The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has announced the FMEG 2018 result of 774 candidates whose result were earlier withheld due to submission of deficient documents. A link to download the result PDF file of 774 withheld aspirants is provided in the article. Earlier, the result of FMGE December 2018 was released on January 4, 2019, in the form of a PDF file. The result contain roll numbers, score (out of 300) and result status of all candidates who took the exam. The link to check FMGE result 2018 December session is available on this page. Candidates were required to score 150 out of 300 i.e. 50% of the total marks to qualify the exam. The FMGE December 2018 result has been announced in the form of merit list in online mode. A total of 12077 candidates appeared for the exam, of which only 1,275 aspirants have qualified the FMGE 2018 December session, while the result of 2976 candidates have been withhold by NBE.
NBE will release the individual FMGE scorecard 2018 on January 8, 2019. The link to download the scorecard will be made available on this page as soon as it will be released. After the release of result, candidates who will qualify the exam will be required to collect the pass certificates. Candidates must note that FMGE is a mandatory exam for Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGs) without which they cannot practice in India.
NBE, conducted the FMGE exam on December 14, 2018, for Indian nationals and Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) with foreign medical qualifications wishing to register themselves with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or any State Medical Council (SMC). The exam conducting body of the Foreign Medical Graduates Examination (FMGE) holds the exam twice a year, in June and December.

How to check FMGE Result 2018
- To check the result of FMGE 2018 for December session, candidates need to click on the link given above.
- Candidates are able to check the PDF document which will reflect the FMGE December 2018 result.
- Candidates are advised to download and take a printout of the copy of their FMGE Result 2018.
FMGE 2018 Pass Certificate
NBE is expected to release the schedule of distribution of pass certificate of FMGE 2018 with the declaration of FMGE result 2018. The certificates will be issued for about one month after the declaration of the result of FMGE 2018 (tentatively). Candidates will be required to go to the below-mentioned address to collect their pass certificate of FMGE 2018. Candidates must note that FMGE 2018 pass certificate will be issued In-Person to the candidates. Candidates will be required to carry following documents while going for the collection of FMGE pass certificate 2018.
- Admit Card of FMGE 2018 (with latest photograph affixed on it).
- Original Passport (except those who have obtained the primary medical qualification from Nepal).
- Original MBBS Certificate
- Original Eligibility Certificate issued by MCI
- Original and Valid Voter ID card or PAN Card or Driving License or Aadhar Card

FMGE 2018 December session exam was held on December 14. The exam will be conducted in online mode and the question booklet will include 150 multiple choice questions (MCQs) divided in two part papers – morning and afternoon session – taken in a single day. The candidates must note that there will be no negative marking in FMGE 2018, but the weightage of MCQs will vary. The question booklet pattern will be based on the MBBS programme curriculum. There is no restriction on the number of attempts the candidates can avail for the FMGE exam but they can give the test only once in one testing window.
FMGE was made mandatory in the year 2002 for all Foreign Medical Graduates who are Indian nationals or OCIs. However, students holding undergraduate and postgraduate medical degrees from Australia/Canada/New Zealand/ United Kingdom/United States of America are not required to give the FMGE exam as they can register themselves directly with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or any State Medical Council (SMC).
